Flyball
Flyball is a popular sport that combines running and jumping, two things dogs excel at, with tennis balls, every dog's favorite toy! This is a team sport, with two teams of dogs running and jumping along side each other. The dog leaves his owner, jumps over four hurdles, then jumps on the side of a wall, triggering a mechanism that throws out a tennis ball. The dog grabs the ball, turns back and returns to his owner over all the hurdles. The team that gets all its dogs over the course first wins. The North American Flyball Association awards titles for competing dogs.
